FAQ's

What should I bring with me?

You don't need to bring anything, except what you might want for the day!

We do advise you keep an eye on the weather and make sure you bring appropriate gear to handle the Great British Summer (think: jumpers. umbrellas, sun cream, hats)

We also have a huge variety of stalls selling amazing crafts, food, drinks and more, so you may want to bring some spending money with you.

What should I wear?

There is no strict dress code - this day is for you to express yourself to the max! We want to see all of your colours and sparkles and whatever makes you happy.

Please note: We are a family friendly event with all-age entertainment until 7pm, so we would ask that perhaps you save your riskier outfits until the evening!

Can I bring a chair?

We completely understand that you want to stick around for all of our fabulous entertainment, and that can be a long time to stand! We advise bringing a picnic blanket to spread out on the grass in order to sit down. If you're unable to sit on the ground for medical or disability reasons you are permitted to bring a collapsable chair, but we would ask those who don't need them to refrain from bringing them.

Can I bring a picnic blanket?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your brightest and most colourful picnic blanket so you can enjoy the day in comfort.

Can I bring in food?

Yes of course! However, we do have an amazing range of local food providers with us on the day, if you wanted to pick something up while you're with us.

Can I bring in alcohol?

Yes, you can. However. this is strictly limited to 3x Cans per person and 600ml of wine. You may NOT bring in spirits. We also will not allow glass into the venue.

Please drink responsibly - we want you to have fun, but we also want to keep you & others safe.

Can I fill up my water bottle?

Absolutely! All our bars provide water and will be able to dispense that to you upon request. When the weather is hot on Pride Day we really encourage you to keep hydrated!

How can I support Tonbridge Pride?

You can support us by coming to our event! We're growing every year and with more and more community support, we can show that Tonbridge is a welcoming and diverse place to live.

We have managed so far to keep Tonbridge Pride a completely free event to attend, which is really important to us. However, in order to do that we are always looking for financial support. If you're able, there are many ways you could help us:

- Donate to our crowdfunder HERE

- If you own a business, consider sponsoring Pride.

- Become a volunteer - we're always looking for more volunteers for the day itself, and other events we run through the year.
