The BeYou Project connects young people in Kent and Medway who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning their sexual or gender identity.

By developing a culture of understanding where everyone is free to be who they are, they aim to make sure that LGBTQ+ young people feel included, have positive mental health and a bright future.

West Kent Mind is an independent charity affiliated to Mind. Supporting people to Get Well, Stay Well and to Thrive is what they are all about. West Kent Mind want to  ensure that people with mental health issues get support and respect through inclusive, engaging services that are designed to enable the local community to flourish and thrive.

‘Being gay is okay’ is about practical advice and information about homosexuality, and cutting through the stereotypes and negativity around it. BGIOK aims to help young people feel better about their sexuality and about the person they are beyond that.
